Caesarstone Custom Furniture Design with Chief Architect

Caeserstone coffee Table with multiple stone materials.
By Adrean Stephenson

Custom furniture pieces like this coffee table are easy to create with Chief Architect’s modeling tools.

Additionally, 3D models from other sites can be imported into the program to create an endless selection of furnishings, accessories, and fixtures for your design projects.

Good design is always a great catalyst for more ideas; a concept we’ve made an example of in a Quick Tip video featuring this shiny coffee table. The sleek and modern version caught our eye in Design Milk‘s article, and I felt inspired by Caesarstone’s and Dor Carmon Studio’s collaboration.

In the video, I use Chief Architect’s Polyline Solid tool, 2D CAD tools, and the Caesarstone catalog (available for download from the 3D Library) to get the look. Follow along to see the process and by the end we’ve transformed shapes into a virtual piece of furniture that can be stored in the Library Browser and used in new designs. One great thing about this project is the concept can be tweaked and adjusted to fit so many other ideas.

Watch the video, and try your hand at some furniture design.
